  Introduction to Exercise Library

There are three sets of exercise description, and a link to our general advice site.  The first set of exercises use a bench, dumbbells, occasionally a Swiss Ball. They use static pictures and text for guidance and instruction.   This set is suitable if you want detail guidance on exercise form (ie getting it right, and getting the safest and most effective outcomes)  Subsequent sets cover upper body exercises with video, and a selection of excellent Swiss Ball exercises by Deb Pick.

Look for them under these headings:

 Flexibility and stretching

Core and abdominal exercises

Lower body exercises - legs

Upper body exercises - back

Upper body exercises - chest

Upper body exercises - shoulders

Upper body exercises - arms
